01 · Custom Residential Design

Ground-up homes designed around your lot.

Every custom home starts with the same set of questions: how does light move across the site, where do the prevailing summer breezes come from, which trees stay, and where should the house step back to give the neighbors their sky.

We work in every scale from a 1,600 sq ft infill cottage to a 9,000 sq ft country house on acreage. What stays constant is the level of attention: three schematic options presented in person, hand-drawn before they are ever modeled, and a fixed fee agreed before we begin.

02 · Renovation & Additions

Old bones, new plan.

Half of Houston's housing stock is worth keeping — and worth reworking, honestly. We specialise in mid-century and pre-war homes that need a modern floor plan, a working kitchen and better insulation without losing the reason someone loved them in the first place.

03 · Streetscapes & Public Realm

Streets that belong to the people on them.

We work with small developers, HOAs and single-block resident groups to redesign the shared parts of residential streets — the sidewalks, the parkway trees, the on-street parking, the corner turning radii, the drainage that everybody ignores until it floods.

04 · Feasibility & Site Study

Before you buy the lot.

A four-week engagement that gives you an honest, drawn-up answer to the question every buyer asks: what can I actually build here, and roughly what will it cost. Includes a zoning report, a topographic overlay, two massing options and a construction budget range.

05 · Interior Architecture

Cabinetry, joinery, light.

Interiors handled by the same person who drew the plan. Kitchen and bath layouts, custom millwork, hardware schedules, lighting design, and a full material palette specified down to the grout width.

06 · Landscape Integration

Native, shaded, quietly drained.

Planting plans built around the native palette of the Gulf coastal prairie: live oak, yaupon holly, muhly grass, wax myrtle. Passive shade strategy for west-facing elevations, and a site drainage plan that keeps water off your slab for the next fifty years.
